Tour Itinerary

Day 01 Arrive in Beijing
Arrive in Beijing Airport or railway station. You will be picked up according to your schedule and transferred toyour hotel by an air-conditioned vehicle. The rest of the day is free for you to recover from the jetlag.
Day 02 Beijing (Breakfast, Lunch)
Pay a visit to the Tiananmen Square, then explore the magnificent Forbidden City. After the trip of the Forbidden City, tour to the Summer Palace. Optional program in the evening: Peking Opera, Kungfu Show or Chinese Acrobatics.

Tiananmen Square: Located at the center of Beijing City, the square has a total area of 440,000 square meters and can hold one million people. It has witnessed the birth and growth of People's Republic of China.
Forbidden City: It was built in Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and the whole construction took 14 years from 1406 to 1420. The Forbidden City is 961 meters long and 753 meters wide, surrounded by a moat along the 12-meter-high wall. It was the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties.
Summer Palace: Constructed in 1750, it was originally the abode and imperial garden of the emperors of Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). The new Summer Palace consists of Mt. Wanshou, Kunming Lake and imperial chambers. Its gardens represent a high point in Chinese gardening art.
Day 03 Beijing (Breakfast, Lunch)
After breakfast, sightseeing to the Mutianyu Great Wall. The next stop is the remarkable Temple of Heaven. Take a stopover at the 2008 Olympic Stadiums: the Bird's Nest and Water Cube on the way back to your hotel.

Mutianyu Great Wall: Winding 2.5 kilometer through lofty mountains, it is the most beautiful section of the Great Wall. Mutianyu connects Gubeikou Great Wall in the east and Juyongguan Pass in the west; the wall is 7-8.5 meters high and the top is 4-5 meters wide, it was first built in Northern Qi Dynasty (550 - 557).
Temple of Heaven: As is the largest extant sacrificial temple in China, the Temple of Heaven was built in 1420 AD in Ming Dynasty. The architecture and layout of the temple of heaven is based on elaborate symbolism and numerology. The main buildings in the Temple of Heaven are the Alter of Prayer for Good Harvests in the north and Circular Mound Altar in the south lined in the central axis and connected by a 36-meter-long stairway bridge.
Day 04 Beijing - Chongqing (Breakfast, Lunch)
Take a rickshaw for a Hutong Tour through the most characteristic and traditional neighborhood. After lunch, transfer to Beijing airport and take flight to Chongqing. Upon your arrival at Chongqing airport, local guide will meet you and send you to the port for cruise boarding.

Hutong: Old alleys and narrow streets in Beijing. The ancient Chinese built their houses with courtyards close to each other to form narrow passage ways (Hutong) between them. The alleys give a wonderful glimpse into the old way of life and traditional culture.
Day 05 Yangtze River Cruise (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Start your cruising on the mighty Yangtze River in the morning. Enjoy the marvelous scenery along way. Offshore excursion to Fengdu Ghost City to explore a special and fabulous ghost culture. Fengdu is located on the northern bank of the Yangtze River, about 170KM downstream from Chongqing. From there we will pass the 400-year-old Shibaozhai Temple.

Various free activities including welcoming banquet and dancing shows will also be held on the cruise for your entertainment. (Different cruises will have different activities, e.g. Taichi Learning, Fashion Show, Music Salon, etc.)

Day 06 Yangtze River Cruise: Qutang Gorge - Wu Gorge (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Go on with your cruise trip along Yangtze River, passing through the breathtaking Qutang Gorge. Steep precipices, hidden reefs, perilous cliff and tumbling rapids¡­ all are on your way along Yangtze River! Today's adventures include a side excursion on smaller boats to either the Shennong Stream or the Lesser Three Gorges (depending on different cruise itineraries). You have the option of visiting White Emperor City. Reboard the ship and sail through the Wu Gorge.
Day 07 Yangtze River Cruise - Yichang - Wuhan - Guilin (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Passing Xiling Gorge. Arrival in Yichang. We'll transit the Three Gorges Dam as we make our way to Yichang. Our ship will pass through a series of locks to lower it the necessary 600 feet. An excursion allows you to see the project up close.
Our local tour guide will meet you at the port. You will be transferred to the Wuhan Airport. Take afternoon flight for Guilin. Met and transferred to your hotel.
Day 08 Guilin - Lijiang River Cruise - Yangshuo (Breakfast, Lunch)
Our guide will pick you up from your hotel at 08:10, then transfer to Zhujiang Pier which takes an hour. Cruise down the Li River to Yangshuo and enjoy the beauty of the fabulous scenery. Lunch is served on boat. The river tour is more than 83 kilometers long and takes 4 to 5 hours. Disembark your boat when arriving Yangshuo. Have a stroll over the West Street - a 1400-year-old ancient street with Chinese style buildings. Tour to countryside, visit villages and a family to get some ideas of the local farmers' lifestyle.
Day 09 Yangshuo - Guilin - Shanghai (Breakfast, Lunch)
Drive 1.5 hours back to Guilin. Tour to the the Reed Flute Cave and the Elephant Trunk Hill. Enjoy a pleasant walk around the scenic Banyan Lake, Fir Lake and the Southern Ancient Gate. Transfer to Guilin airport for flight to Shanghai.

Reed Flute Cave: It is 500 meters long and takes about fifty minutes to explore. The cave is the most visited karst cave in Guilin, located 5 kilometers in the northwest of the city. Inside the cave are a number of fantastic stalagmites, stalactites, stone curtains, stone pillars, and stone flowers. There are 77 stone inscriptions in the cave covering many years of China's storied history.
Elephant Trunk Hill: It lies on the western bank of the Li River in the southeast of Guilin, where the Peach Blossom River joints the Li River. Elephant Hill is one of the most visited attractions in Guilin and is regarded as the symbol of the city. The hill is a lump of rock with a large hole in it, shaped like a huge elephant drinking water from the river.
Day 10 Shanghai (Breakfast, Lunch)
Pay a visit to the Yuyuan Garden, then explore the bazaar near City God Temple and XinTianDi in former French Concession. After lunch, take a walk at the Bund and Nanjing Road.

Yuyuan Garden:
The garden was first built in 1559, it is the only surviving garden built in the Ming Dynasty . Now it occupies an area of 20,000 square meters, Yuyuan Garden has more than forty deftly designed ancient constructions, like the giant Rockery, the Iron Lions, Exquisite Jade Rock, and the Deyue Pavilion, all of which are divided by dragon walls, wound corridors and beautiful flowers.
Day 11 Shanghai - Departure (Breakfast)
Transfer to airport for flight to your next destination, end of service.

Tour Price Inclusion
1. Centrally Located Hotel Accommodation:
The hotel is based on two persons sharing one twin standard room with private facilities.
2. Meals:
Daily American or Chinese breakfast at the hotel; Chinese lunch or dinner in local Chinese restaurant as listed in the above itinerary.
3. Private Transport:
Private transport between airport or railway station and hotel and all the sights by air-conditioned vehicle and chauffeur. The above private guided tour is for you exclusively. No other participants will be in your group and you will not take part into any tours of others on land services.
4. Entrance Fee:
The main entrance tickets for the above sights mentioned.
5. Guiding Service:
All normal sightseeing tours in each city with private English-speaking guide and admission fees where applicable.
6. Insurance:
China Life Tourist Accident/Casualty Insurance. We highly recommend that you purchase full coverage travel insurance from you country of origin.

7. Transportation Between Cities
The economic class air tickets of the domestic flight or soft berth/seat train tickets between cities as specified in the above itinerary.
8. Tibet Travel Permit
Tibet Travel Permit if your tour includes Tibet.


Tour Price Exclusion
1. Visa Fees:
Charge of obtaining your visa to enter China.
2. Charge of arrival and departure:
The international or domestic air / train charge of arrival and departure.
3. Single Room Supplement:
Should a twin room is needed by a single guest, supplement of the twin room will be charged.
What is single supplement? - The hotel is based on double occupancy. If the visitor travels alone or the number of the travelers is odd (such as 3, 5, 7...), who stays in one single room has to pay the single room supplement. As the hotel is on double occupancy.
4. Personal Expenses:
Expenses of a personal nature such as laundry, drinks, fax, telephone call, optional activities or sightseeing, overweight baggage charges or meals not indicated, ect.
5. Optional Programs:
Optional programs which are not specified in the above itinerary.
6. Tips to guides and drivers:
Depending on their service, it's up to you, entirely voluntary.


Terms & Conditions

When we receive your deposit and/or full payment, we will think that you have read and agreed the following terms and conditions. We suggest that you¡¯d better read them carefully before you make an reservation with us.

1. Payment

Deposit and Full Payment
US$ 90/pax is required as deposit for your booking. Pay the outstanding balance 30 days prior to your departure date.

It's OK if you want to pay the outstanding balance in cash when your China tour actually begins. But in that case, the deposit (US$ 90/person) is not refundable if you cancel this tour.

*In Guilin Tour, if the tour fare is less than US$100 per person, you don't have to pay the required deposit (US$200/person). Instead, you may pay it in cash when your Guilin tour begins.

Methods of Payment
We provide 3 means of your payment:
PayPal (with/without a PayPal account)
Credit Card(authorization letter by fax)
Wire Transfer(Regular Bank Transfer)

Some notes for clients who pay by credit card only
If you pay by credit card, we will draw Chinese currency from your card. The card company or bank will convert this amount to the currency that is normally shown on your credit card.

On the website we quote in US dollar for some of our seat-in-coach tours so that you can get an idea of the tour cost. But when you make reservation with us we may quote in RMB. We convert US dollar to Chinese RMB at a rate of US$1=6.7 RMB.

You have our words that we won't get any benefit from the difference appearing on your credit card.

In condition of revaluation of RMB, we will keep the quotation of all tours once you have made full payment in advance.

If you haven't made the full payment when revaluation occurs, you need to pay the differnce between the new and old price caculated in Chinese RMB. We promise that we won't charge more than the quotation that have been accepted by you.

2. Cancellation and Refundment
Although we will feel regretful at your cancellation of your China tour, we understand that there may be many reasonable conditions that you have to do so. If you cancel the trip, you must notify us by mail or by fax.

In event of cancellation when you just pay a deposit to us, we won't refund it to you. But it is applicable if you plan your China tour with us in 12 months.

If you have made full payment before you have to cancel your tour to China, we will make the refundment to you as followings:
Cancellation received more than 30 days before departure: 10 % of tour price, but may be applied for your next trip within 12 months.
Cancellation received from 20 to 30 days before departure: 10% of the tour price.
Cancellation received from 7 to 20 days before departure: 20% of the tour price.
Cancellation received from 3 to 6 days before departure: 50% of the tour price.
Cancellation received from 2 to 0 days before departure: 100% of the tour price.
Note: The cancellation of Yangtze River Cruise won't get any refundment.
We will make the refundment in 14 work days since we receive your cancellation request in written form.

There won't be any refundment if you don't appear in your China tour. Once the tour begins, we cannot refund you for unenjoyed service because of your late arrival, early departure or missed days during your China tour.

If we cancel any tour before the tour begins, we will make full refundment of the money we have received.

3. Adjustment of the Itinerary
It is free for you to adjust the itinerary in China before you pay a deposit to lock your booking. We will do our best to alter the itinerary until it fits your needs. But it needs a fee of US$ 10 per request to alter the itinerary after you pay the deposit.

4. Travel Documentation
Travellers to China should hold a valid passort and necessary visas or some permits before come to China. You should get these documents by yourself. If necessary, your trip advisor of our website may assist you in applying there documentation, but we bear no responsibility or liability for failed application of these documentation.

5. Heath Requirements
While travelling abroad, some potential risks are unavoidable. Travellers should familiarize themselves with health requirements applicable to the areas they plan to visit. They are solely responsible to check related conditions, such as safty, vaccination and other special requirements of health. Travellers to Tibet should especially pay attention to its very high altitude to avoid possible effects.. They should examine carefully that whether their blood pressure and heart condition are suitable to travel in such a high altitude.

6. Insurance
The tour packages on our website have already included China Life and Tourist Accident/Casualty Insurance. Besides that we recommend stongly that you buy full coverage travel insurance in your own country or region. Only hotel or flight booking cannot get this insurance.

7. Complaints and Claims
During your tour in China, if you feel unsatisfied with the service we provide. Please tell your tour guide or your trip advisior so that we can correct timely and privide better service.

Your complaint or claim for compendation is still valid in two weeks after your China tour ends. You may notify us by e-mail, regular mail or fax. Necessary proofs should be provided together with your claim letter. But we won't handle complaint made later than 14 days after the end of your tour.

8. Responsibility
The responsibility of our website is strictly limited.
We are not responsible for any loss, injury, casualty or damage because of force majeure, such as climatic abnormity, breakkdown of machinery or equipment, wars, strikes, riots, thefts, epidemics, terrorist activities, or any other actions, omissions or conditions beyond our control.
The operation of a China tour package includes many parties. Some of them are not directly managed or controlled by us, such as cruise ship, transportation carriers, hotels and other cooperating parties. We are not responsible for the loss, injury, casualty or damage caused by these parties. But we will bear the reponsibility to handle the willful or negligent acts of our partner travel agents for the land services.
Many China exploration tours need travellers' carefulness and attention, such as baording or disembarking cruise ship, climbing mountain and exploring remote area. Our tour guide will offer propriate help and advice. But all the activities are practiced at your own risk. So we are not liable for accidents which happen after our representatives have exercised their duty.
We reserve the right to alter or rescind hereinbefore terms and conditions with or withour inform.
