The
Longji Rice Terraces are located in Longsheng County about
2 hours from Guilin.
The rice terraces are built into the hillsides. The terraces
look like great chains or ribbons as they wind from the foot
to the top of the hill. This ingenious construction makes
best use of the scare arable land and water resources in the
mountainous area. There are about 66 square kilometers terraced
fields in southeast of Longsheng, the terraces were first
built in the Yuan dynasty and completed in the Qing dynasty
by the Zhuang
people.
Besides of the famous known Pingan village of
Zhuang Minority Ethnic in Longji Terraces, There is another
famous
Jinkeng Rice Terraces, which is home to Yao minorities.
Jinkeng Rice Terraces are located around 25 miles (40 km)
away from Longsheng and 20km away from Longji Terraces, where
you will be rewarded feats of farm engineering going all the
way up a string of 2400 feet (800 m) mountains.

| Day 01 |
Guilin - Dazhai Jinkeng
- Longsheng Longji (Lunch)
08:00 In the morning our tour guide will
meet you in your hotel, drive 2.5 hours to Longsheng county,
visit Jinkeng Terraced Fields. Hike 4.5 hours from Jinkeng
to Longji. Stay tonight in hotel in Longji Ping An Village.

| Day 02 |
Longsheng Longji - Guilin
(Breakfast, Lunch)
Visit Longji
Terraced Fields and Ping An Village where lives ethnic
minority Zhuang
and Yao
people. Drive back to Guilin and transfer to your hotel
(17:30-18:00), service ends. |
