Yangshuo Tour
Yangshuo is a small county located 65km
to the south of Guilin in the northeast part of Guangxi
Zhuang Autonomous Region. Travellers can get to Yangshuo
by bus from Guilin or by a cruise tour downstream on
the Lijiang River from Guilin. Yangshuo is well-known
for its breath-taking karst scenery. There goes a saying,
"Guilin's scenery is the best under heaven, Yangshuo's
scenery is the best among Guilin." Yangshuo's scenery
generally refers to the beautiful mountains and rivers
stretching about a little over 100 km along the banks
of Li River, from Xing'an in the north to Yangshuo in
the south. Biking, Hiking, kayaking, bamboo rafting
and rock climbing are popular activities in Yangshuo.
The weather in Yangshuo is subtropical,
with sufficient rainfall, sunlight, and heat around
the whole year. On average each year the temperature
is 19 centigrade, the amount of sunlight is 1,465 hours,
the rainfall is 1,640mm. There are about 300 days per
year without frost. In general, the weather is neither
too hot in summer nor too cold in winter. The best time
for taking a trip to Yangshuo is from April until November.
